Atlit Detention Camp

The project began as a cognitive accessibility addition to the existing display in the detention camp in Atlit, in collaboration with Akim, but developed into renewing the entire display in the residential barrack and the disinfection barrack on site. We redesigned the display in the barracks, added graphics and accompanying sound, which will illustrate the life of the clandestine immigrants there.

The accompanied accessible kits for the existing tour we've created, help to convey the immigrant's story in a more illustrative and experiential way to all the visitors alike.
